Acrylic resin production line involves multiple steps, including raw material preparation, polymerization reaction, post-processing, drying and packaging. 1. Feeding
Put the bottom raw material into the reactor.
2. Heating and Dripping
When the temperature reaches the specified temperature or there is rflux (generally reaching the boiling point of the bottom raw material), the monomer, solvent and initiator are dripped through the high-level tank.
3. Temperature Control
At this time, the reaction of acrylic resin is more intense, and the temperature needs to be controlled within a reasonable range. It cannot be too high, otherwise the reaction will be too intense, and the overflow phenomenon will occur if it is not well controlled. It cannot be lower than the reasonable temperature range, otherwise the reaction will be insufficient, which will have a great impact on the molecular weight and performance of acrylic resin.
4. Insulation
This stage is to make the residual monomer of acrylic acid react more fully. The temperature at this stage is basically a slow decline stage. Appropriate heating is used for insulation to allow the residual monomer and the residual initiator to fully react.
5. Viscosity Adjustment and Solid Content Measurement
Adjust the viscosity to the specified range and test the solid content and other indicators.
6. Cooling and Packaging
After the indicators are qualified, cool down to below 80℃ and package.
