1. Reactor
Used for polymerization of reaction raw materials, For both production processes, reactor is the main equipment, responsible for the control of polymerization process, including temperature, pressure, stirring speed, etc.
2. Stirring System
Stirring system is used to ensure uniform mixing of reaction materials, prevent sedimentation, wall adhesion and improve reaction efficiency. For emulsion polymerization, stirring system also plays a role in keeping the emulsified particles uniformly dispersed.
3. Cooling System
During the polymerization process, the reaction will generate heat, so a cooling system is required to control the reaction temperature to avoid overheating and adverse reactions.
4. Disperser / High Shear Mixer
Used for efficient dispersion and mixing of raw materials, especially in cases where high shear force is required, such as in the production of highly filled acrylic resins. In the production of acrylic emulsions, the disperser is used to ensure uniform dispersion of emulsion particles.
5. Degassing Machine / Vacuum System
During the production process, especially in the mixing stage, bubbles may be generated. Degassing machine or vacuum system is used to remove these bubbles to ensure the quality of the final product. This is particularly importat in the production of acrylic emulsions because bubbles may affect the stability of the emulsion.
