High-efficiency urea-formaldehyde resin production line turnkey project.
Urea-formaldehyde Resin Production Line Equipment
| Equipment | Function |
| Formaldehyde storage tanks & transfer pumps | A large-capacity, safe storage system for formaldehyde solution is used, and it is then transported to the reaction area in a sealed manner through corrosion-resistant pipelines |
| Liquid flow meters / metering tanks | High-precision mass flow meters (or high-level weighing tanks) are used to achieve precise quantitative addition of liquid raw materials such as formaldehyde, liquid alkali, and formic acid |
| Urea silos / weighing hoppers | Solid urea granules are stored and automatically fed into the reaction vessel via a sealed screw conveyor or vacuum negative pressure feeding system |
| Reactor | This is the core of the production line. Formaldehyde and urea undergo hydroxymethylation (addition) and polycondensation reactions here. The vessel is equipped with a powered agitator to ensure thorough mixing of the materials |
| Shell and tube condenser | The vapor evaporated in the reactor is efficiently condensed, liquefied, and then introduced into the collection system |
| Water distributor / vacuum buffer tank | The condensed liquid is recovered. During the reflux stage, the solvent is returned to the reactor to continue the reaction; during the dehydration and concentration stage, the wastewater is isolated and collected |
| Water ring vacuum pump | A negative pressure environment is established in the system. In the later stage of polycondensation, vacuum negative pressure is used for dehydration, rapidly removing moisture at a lower temperature to increase the solids content of the resin |
| Blending and cooling tank | The resin that has passed the polycondensation standard is in a high-temperature state, and direct storage can easily lead to gelation. It is discharged into a cooling tank, where it is rapidly cooled to room temperature by circulating cold water through a jacket, and then final modification is added |
| Discharge pump & bag filter | The resin has a high viscosity; it is pumped out using a gear pump or screw pump and filtered through a stainless steel bag filter to remove any undissolved urea particles or impurities |
