Main Differences in Production Processes
| Comparison Items | HTV Silicone Rubber | RTV Silicone Rubber |
| Vulcanization Method | High temperature (120-180℃) is required | Room temperature vulcanization, no heating required |
| Main Ingredients | Linear polymer silicone+filler+vulcanizer | Low molecular weight siloxane+crosslinker+catalyst |
| Product Form | Solid or semi-solid, for processing | Liquid or paste, can be used directly |
| Main Applications | Extrusion, molding, injection molding products | Sealing, bonding, coating, potting |
1. Mixing Equipment (sigma mixer, internal mixer, open mixer)
Responsible for mixing the silicone base material with filler (white carbon black), vulcanizer (peroxide), etc.
2. Extruder or Calender
Produce extruded products such as silicone tubes and silicone sheets.
3. High Temperature Vulcanization Furnace (drying oven)
Use 120-180℃ hot air vulcanization to cure the silicone rubber.
4. Cutting and Packaging Equipment
The silicone products produced can be cut into sticks, sheets, blocks and packaged.
1. Liquid Raw Material Storage Tank
Storage and transportation of low molecular weight siloxane (base material) + filler + crosslinker + catalyst.
2. Triple Shaft Mixer
Used to disperse fillers (white carbon black, alumina, etc.) and ensure uniform mixing.
3. Vacuum Degassing Equipment
Remove bubbles generated during mixing and improve product quality.
4. Automatic Filling Machine
Suitable for filling of single component (glass glue, sealant) or two components (electronic potting glue, mold silicone).
