1. Reactor
One of the key equipment for PUR hot melt glue production, used to synthesize polyurethane hot melt glue. Reactor is usually equipped with stirring, heating and temperature control systems to ensure the full reaction of polyurethane prepolymer adn curing agent. The process usually needs to be carried out at high temperature (about 150℃-180℃).
2. High Temperature Heating System
PUR hot melt glue needs to be processed at high temperature, so the production line needs to be equipped with a reliable heating system, usually using electric heating, steam heating or hot oil heating system. These heating systems can ensure that the temperature in the reactor and mixing equipment is controlled within a certain range.
3. Vacuum Degassing System
PUR hot melt glue may produce bubbles during the production process, especially when gas is released during the reaction process, which may cause foam to form in the glue. To avoid affecting the product quality, PUR hot melt glue production line is equipped with a vacuum degassing device to help remove bubbles in the glue and ensure the uniformity and stability of the glue.
4. Cooling System
During the production process, the temperature of PUR hot melt glue needs to be reduced to a level suitable for curing and packaging. The cooling system includes water cooling system, air cooling system, etc., which are used to quickly cool down and ensure that the glue reaches the appropriate temperature.
5. Curing Agent Addition System
In some production processes, the curing agent needs to be added to the reaction system at a specific time. An automated feeding system is usually used to accurately feed the curing agent or other special additives to control the curing time and performance of the glue.
6. Quality Control System
It is used to monitor and adjust important parameters in the production process, such as temperature, pressure, viscosity, pH value, etc., to ensure the stability of PUR hot melt glue quality.
7. Automatic Packaging System
After the production of PUR hot melt glue is completed, it is usually packaged by an automatic filling system. Common packaging forms include barrel packaging, bag packaging and cylinder packaging. Automatic filling equipment can usually perform quantitative filling efficiently and accurately to avoid overflow and waste.
8. Automatic Control and Monitoring System
PLC control system is used to automatically control the entire PUR hot melt glue production line, monitor various parameters in the production process in real time, and ensure the stability and controllability of the production process.
1. Temperature Resistance: PUR hot melt glue has high heat resistance. Cured PUR hot melt glue usually has better high temperature resistance and is suitable for environmental conditions with higher requirements.
2. Chemical Resistance: PUR hot melt glue has better chemical resistance and can resist the erosion of some chemical solvents and oils.
3. Bonding Strength: PUR hot melt glue provides strong bonding performance, especially in applications with high strength and durability requirements.
4. Environmental Protection: PUR hot melt glue is generally solvent-free, low-volatile, and meets environmental protection standards. It is very popular in applications that require non-toxicity and low volatility.
