Vacuum System Design of Sigma Mixer
1. Sealed Structure
The mixing chamber of sigma mixer is designed as a completely sealed structure, equipped with a special vacuum system, which uses a vacuum pump to extract the air in the mixing chamber to form a low-pressure environment.
2. Vacuum Pump System
Sigma mixer is usually equipped with an efficient vacuum pump, which can quickly remove the air and volatile components in the mixture to ensure that the vacuum degree in the mixing chamber meets the process requirements.
Why Need Vacuum Sigma Mixer?
  • 1. Remove Bubbles

  • During the material mixing process, air is easily entrained into the material to form bubbles. By vacuuming, bubbles in the material can be effectively removed to prevent bubbles from affecting the quality of the product (such as adhesives, silicone rubber and other high-precision products).

  • 2. Prevent Oxidation Reactions

  • Some chemical materials may undergo unnecessary oxidation reactions when in contact with air, thereby affecting the material properties. Vacuuming can reduce the oxygen content, reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions, and improve product stability.

  • 3. Improve Product Quality

  • Vacuum environment helps to improve the uniformity adn density of the material, making the material mixing more thorough during the kneading process, thereby improving the physical and chemical properties of the product.

  • 4. Accelerate the Discharge of Volatile Components

  • In some processes that require the removal of moisture or solvents (such as the mixing of silicone rubber or some chemical materials), vacuuming can accelerate the discharge of volatile components, ensure that there is no excess moisture or solvent residue in the product, and improve the curing or reaction effect.

  • 5. Optimize Material Reaction Conditions

  • In some specific processes, the reaction may need to be carried out in a vacuum environment to better control the reaction temperature, pressure and reaction rate to ensure the quality and performance of the product.
