The primary raw materials of Acrylic emulsion include acrylic monomers, water, emulsifiers, thickeners, pigments, and additives.
Acrylic monomers, such as methyl MMA, BA, and styrene, are mixed together in specific ratios. This mixture forms the basis for the acrylic emulsion.
The monomer acrylic mixture is combined with water and emulsifiers in a reactor.Mechanical agitation or high-shear mixing is employed to break down the monomers into tiny droplets and disperse them evenly in the water phase.
