1. Acrylic Monomer
Acrylic acid is a colorless liquid with a strong pungent odor. It is one of the main monomers of acrylic emulsion and is used in polymerization reactions to form polyacrylic acid or other acrylic polymers.
2. Emulsifier
Emulsifiers are a key component iin stably mixing the acrylic monomer and water phases together. Common emulsifiers include nonionic surfactants, anionic surfactants or cationic surfactants.
3. Polymerization Assistant
Polymerization assistants can promote the polymerization reaction of acrylic monomers and adjust the molecular weight and structure of the polymer. Common polymerization aids include peroxide initiators, reducing agents, stabilizers, etc.
4. Ascorbic Acid
Ascorbic Acid is often added to acrylic emulsions to prevent free radicals generated during polymerization from causing undesirable oxidation reactions.
