Reactor (low to medium viscosity hot melt glue)

1. Raw materials are hot melt solids (EVA, rosin, petroleum resin, etc.)
2. Operating temperature 100~180℃, the system is relatively fluid.
3. No need for violent shear mixing.
4. The production line requires a high degree of automation (can be equipped with vacuum, metering, and feeding systems).
5. There are subsequent supporting processes such as vacuum degassing, filtration, and unloading.

Suitable for: EVA hot melt glue, some HMPSA, PUR reactive hot melt glue (high configuration).

Sigma Mixer (medium to high viscosity / elastomer system)

1. The raw material is an elastomer resin (such as SBS, SEBS, polyamide, etc.).
2. The viscosity is very high (more than 100,000cP), and it cannot be driven by ordinary stirring paddles.
3. Strong shearing and compaction kneading are required.
4. Usually intermittent operation, with heating/vacuum device.
5. The finished product can be discharged by extrusion, sheet or pillow mold cooling.

Suitable for: SBC hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive, polyamide adhesive, butyl adhesive, sealing hot melt glue.

PUR hot melt glue	Vacuum reactor	Requires water-free, vacuum, temperature control reaction (high reactor configuration)
Butyl hot melt glue	Sigma mixer	Ultra-high viscosity, must be strongly kneaded and mixed

Regardless of the equipment used, the following configurations are recommended:
• Vacuum system (to remove bubbles)
• Hydraulic discharge device (for high viscosity systems)
• Cooling molding molds or automatic packaging system
• Precision feeding and weighing system (for accurate formula)
