** PVA itself is not an adhesive, but it is a protective colloid for PVAc emulsion. PVA is often added to stabilize the emulsion during the synthesis of white latex.

White Latex Production Process

1. Use a high shear stirring system to emulsify vinyl acetate monomer.
2. Polymerize with a free radical initiator (such as ammonium persulfate).
3. Control the temperature at 70~85℃ during the reaction.
4. After the reaction is completed, cool and filter to finally obtain a stable milky white emulsion, i.e. white latex.
