1. Alkalization reaction
Alkalize cellulose in alkali solution to make it easier to react with etherifying agents.
2. Etherification reaction
Under certain temperature and stirring conditions, cellulose reacts with chloroacetic acid to produce CMC.
3. Neutralization washing
Adjust pH to neutral with acid and wash with water to remove impurities (by-product salts adn unreacted raw materials).
4. Drying
Dehydrate CMC and dry it to powder state.
5. Crushing and screening
Make the product reach the target particle size.
