1. Raw Material Mixing
Reactor is equipped with an efficient stirring device, which can evenly mix and disperse the base oil, thickener and various additives in a short time.
2. Saponification Reaction
When producing metal soap-based grease, reactor is the main place for saponification reaction. By heating and stirring, the reaction of metal soap and base oil is promoted to generate a uniform soap structure.
3. Temperature Control
Reactor is usually equipped with a heating and cooling system to accurately control the reaction temperature. By controlling the heating and cooling rates, the reaction rate is adjusted to ensure productquality and production efficiency.
4. Degassing and Filtration (partial function)
Some reactors are equipped with a vacuum system to remove gas during mixing and reaction to prevent bubbles from affecting product quality. Some reactors have a preliminary filtration function integrated in the design to remove large particles of impurities during the mixing process.
