    What is epoxy adhesive?
    Epoxy adhesive, also called epoxy resin adhesive, generally refers to an adhesive made with epoxy resin as the main body. Epoxy adhesive requires the addition of an epoxy resin curing agent to solidify it.

  • Basic Features
    Two-component glue requires a mixture of components A and B. It has strong versatility and can fill larger gaps. Waterproof, oil-resistant, strong acid and alkali resistant.
  • Operating Environment
    Curing at room temperature, both indoors and outdoors, you can mix glue manually or use special equipment for AB glue.
  • Applicable Temperature
    -50℃~150℃
  • Storage Requirements
    Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight. The shelf life is 12 months.

Consider Before Producing Epoxy Adhesive
  • 1. Comfirm Use of Epoxy Adhesive
    If it is used for bonding, the strength needs to be considered. If it is used for potting, sealing may be more important. If it is used for coating and surface treatment, pay attention to the brushability and fluidity.
  • 2. Confirm Cost of Epoxy Adhesive
    If it is a large amount of epoxy adhesive used for potting, of course the cost must be low. The price on the market basically ranges from more than ten yuan to more than one hundred yuan per kilogram. If it is used for bonding precision products, considering the various electrical properties, high reliability and convenience of epoxy adhesive, some prices will range from a few hundred yuan to several thousand yuan per kilogram, and more precision products will use 10-30mL. If the syringe is dispensed through an automatic dispensing machine, the cost will be higher.
  • 3. Confirm Viscosity of Epoxy Adhesive
    The viscosity is related to the filling gap size and dispensing efficiency. The higher the viscosity, the larger the filling gap, the worse the fluidity, and the worse the dispensing performance. Some require costomers to make decisions through dispensing tests. After all, the equipment and operating habits used by each company are different.
  • 4. Confirm Color of Epoxy Adhesive
    General products require epoxy adhesive and bonding material to be as close as possible. Transparent epoxy adhesive has the best adaptability. However, in some special occasions, customers require color identification, so epoxy adhesive also comes in green, red, black, blue and other colors.
  • 5. Confirm Composition of Epoxy Adhesive
    One-component epoxy adhesive mixes the curing agent into the epoxy resin in advance and needs to be stored frozen and heated to solidify before use. Two-component epoxy adhesive can be stored naturally. When used, agent A and agent B need to be blended in proportion and mixed evenly before use. Choose according to customer needs!
