Market demand is growing fast, and consumption gap is large
Many African countries (such as Rwanda, Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt, and Tanzania) are rapidly urbanizing and industrializing, and the demand for architectural coatings, wood coatings, and general industrial coatings is growing rapidly.
As the most commonly used general coating resin, alkyd resin is still mainly imported in the African market, and local production is seriously insufficient.
The development of the building materials market has driven the demand for paints and coatings. Paint factories are highly dependent on resins. Establishing local resin production lines can break the dependence on imports and have a large profit margin.
Raw materials are available and have a preliminary industrial foundation
Some African countries have rich vegetable oil resources (such as soybean oil, linseed oil, sunflower oil, palm oil, etc.), which can be used as one of the main raw materials for alkyd resin.
