Composition and Curing Method
Glass Glue: It is usually refers to silicone sealant specially used for bonding and sealing glass and glass, glass and other materials (such as aluminum, plastic, etc.). Glass glue is generally a neutral silicone sealant, with good adhesion, weather resistance and transparency, suitable for sealing and installation of glass curtain walls, windows, etc. Its curing process does not release acidic substances and remains transparent after curing.
Common Silicone Sealant: It is a broader term that refers to any sealant based on silicone chemical composition. There are many types of common silicone sealant, including acidic silicone sealant and neutral silicone sealant. It is suitable for sealing and bonding of various materials, and common uses include construction, automobiles, homes and other fields. Common silicone sealants has two types, acidic and neutral, and is applicable to a wide range of materials, but some acidic silicone sealant may not be suitable for contact with certain materials such as glass or metal.
