Difference Between PU Construction Sealant And MS Construction Sealant | JCT Machinery

Curing Mechanism
1. Polyurethane construction sealant
Relies on moisture in the air to react with isocyanate to form urea bonds, and the curing speed is greatly affected by humidity.

2. MS construction sealant
Cures through hydrolysis and condensation of silane groups, has less dependence on humidity, and cures more evenly.
Application Difference
1. Polyurethane construction sealant
• Suitable for structural bonding, floor expansion joints, concrete joints and other parts that require higher strength.
• Used for interior decoration, door and window bonding, floor sealing.

2. MS construction sealant
• Suitable for exterior wall curtain wall joints, wet areas, roof waterproof sealing, stone curtain wall (due to non-polluting).
• Suitable for construction projects that require high weather resistance and high environmental protection requirements.
