Explosion-proof Propellant Sigma Blade Mixer Technical Specifications
| Project | Configuration Requirements |
| Drive Power | Customized to viscosity (typically 30%-50% higher than standard) |
| Agitator Type | Thickened ∑-blades, high torque design |
| Sealing Medium | Nitrogen or special flame-retardant lubricant |
| Monitoring Device | Video surveillance (explosion-proof camera), infrared thermography, vibration monitoring |

1. Explosion-proof rating for the entire system
The motor, reducer, sensors (pressure, temperature, displacement), and electrical control cabinet must meet Ex d IIB/IIC T4 or higher explosion-proof rating.
2. Non-sparking design
A tight precision clearance is maintained between the agitator and the cylinder to prevent sparks from metal-to-metal friction during rotation.
Material contact parts are typically made of SS304/316 or special stainless steel and polished with an ultra-high gloss mirror finish (Ra<0.2μm) to reduce frictional heat generation.
3. Intrinsically safe sealing
Multiple mechanical seals are used, and positive pressure protection is provided by purging with an inert gas (such as nitrogen) to prevent leakage of flammable solvents and the entry of external oxygen into the mixing chamber.
4. Remote centralized control system
Remote operation from the control room (DCS system) is supported, achieving human-machine isolation and ensuring that personnel remain in a safe area even in the event of an accident.
