  • 1. Welding Accuracy

  • • Automatic Welding: The automatic welding system can accurately control the welding system can accurately control the welding parameters (such as current, voltage, speed, etc.) according to the set program, making the size, shape and quality of the weld more consistent. Through CNC system control, automatic welding can provide higher welding precision, especially in complex or large-scale production, to ensure the repeatability and consistency of welding results.

  • •Manual Welding: Manual welding depends on the technical level and experience of the welder, and the welding accuracy is often limited by the operator's ability. For some highly demanding reactors or reactors with complex structures, manual welding may be difficult to maintain consistent welding quality. Since the operation process is easily affected by factors such as the welder'stechnical level and physical condition, the quality control of welding is also difficult to stabilize.

  • 2. Welding Speed and Production Efficiency

  • • Automatic Welding: Automatic welding system can continue to work without rest, and the work efficiency is much higher than manual welding. When producing a large number of standardized reactors, automatic welding can significantly improve production efficiency and reduce production cycle. In addition, automated equipment can maintain continuous and efficient working conditions, reduce downtime, and improve production consistency.

  • • Manual Welding: Manual welding is slower than automatic welding. Especially in welding tasks that are more complex or require fine operations, manual welding is often less efficient. Welders need to frequently change tools and adjust their posture during the welding process, and their work efficiency is easily affected by fatigue.

  • 3. Welding Quality and Consistency

  • • Automatic Welding: Automatic welding equipment can accurately control the welding process. Parameters such as current, gas flow, and welding speed can be stably adjusted to ensure quality and consistency during the welding process. This is particularly important when batch production of reactors of the same specifications is required multiple times.

  • • Manual Welding: Due to the limitations of the welder's personal technical level and operating conditions, the quality and consistency of manual welding are often not as stable as automatic welding. Especially in mass production, it is difficult to ensure that the welding quality of each reactor is completely consistent.

  • 4. Strength and Safety of Welding

  • • Automatic Weldin: Because automatic welding equipment can control more precise welding paramaters, welder joints are generally stronger and more reliable. For high-pressure and high-temperature reactors, welded joints are required to have sufficient pressure-bearing capacity and sealing performance, and automatic welding can ensure the uniformity and strength of each weld.

  • • Manual Welding: The quality of manual welding is affected by the welder's operating skills and experience. Defects such as unevenness, pores and slag inclusions are prone to occur during welding, which may lead to a decrease in the strength of the weld and affect the safety of the reactor. In environments with higher pressure, temperature or corrosive requirements, manual welding has higher quality risks.

  • 5. Complexity of Welding Process

  • • Automatic Welding: For some reactors with complex shapes or multiple welding points, automatic welding can perform precise control and operation through preset programs. For example, automatic welding systems can complete more complex welding tasks such as circumferential seam welding and T-joint welding, avoiding errors caused by human factors in manual operations.

  • • Manual Welding: Manual welding is difficult for complex welding shapes, especially those that require multiple repair welds. Manual welding relies on the the welder's experience and skills, the operation is cumbersome and there may be certain errors.
