1. Material Difference
Stainless Steel Reactor: Made of SS304/316 and other stainless steel materials, it has good mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. Stainless steel reactor can be used for the reaction of most chemical materials.
Enamel Reactor: The inner wall is carbon steel, and a layer of glass enamel is sprayed on the surface. It is sintered at high temperature and has the chemical stability of glass.
2. Corrosion Resistance
Stainless Steel Reactor: It has strong corrosion resistance to weak acids, weak bases, salts and other materials, but stainless steel reactor will gradually corrode when encountering strong acids and bases (such as sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid).
Enamel Reactor: It is more resistant to corrosion of most acidic materials and is suitable for strong acid and highly corrosive reaction environments, but it is afraid of mechanical impact and is easily broken.
3. Temperature Resistance
Stainless Steel Reactor: It can withstand higher temperature (generally up to 250℃ or even higher).
Enamel Reactor: The temperature resistance is around 200℃, and rapid cooling and heating can easily cause the enamel layer to crack.
4. Cost and Maintenance
Stainless Steel Reactor: High initial investment, low maintenance cost, long life, easy cleaning.
Enamel Reactor: Low equipment cost, but high operating requirements and high maintenacne cost.
| Type | Applicable Industries | Features |
