Hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive ( hmpsa ) is a special type of hot melt adhesive that turns into a liquid state when heated and forms a viscous solid after cooling. It is pressure sensitive at room temperature. Pressure sensitive adhesives are divided into solvent type, emulsion type, hot melt type, etc. Hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive is the third generation of pressure sensitive adhesive products after solvent-based and emulsion-based pressure sensitive adhesives. Compared with the first two, hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive is more conducive to environmental protection and safe production. The biggest advantages of hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive are that it does not contain organic solvents, has low pollution, fast coating speed, high degree of automation, and low production cost.
