What is HTV Silicone Rubber?
High temperature vulcanized (htv) silicone rubber is a high molecular weight polyorganosiloxane (i.e. raw rubber) added with reinforcing fillers and various other additives. It uses organic peraxide as the vulcanizing agent and is molded (molded, extruded, calendered) or injected. Shaped and cross-linked into rubber at high temperatures.
Vulcaniza-tion

The vulcanization of high temperature vulcanized silicone rubber is generally divided into two stages. The first stage is to mix silicone raw rubber, reinforcing agents, additives, vulcanizing agents and structural control agents, and then pressurize the mixed materials in a metal mold. Heat forming and vulcanization.

The second stage is to remove the silicone rubber from the mold and place it in an oven to further vulcanize the rubber and at the same time decompose and evaporate the organic peroxide.

Characteristics of HTV Silicone Rubber
  • Insulating properties

  • Chemical stability

  • Anioxidant

  • Weather resistance

  • Good flexibility and processability

  • Excellent high temperature resistance, able to maintain good elasticity and stability in hgh temperature environments.
