1. Heating and Temperature Control
Resin reactor needs to provide a stable heating system (such as electric heating, steam heating or oil heating) to carry out the resin reaction at a suitable temperature. The temperature control device is used to monitor and adjust the reaction temperature in real time to ensure the smooth progress of the reaction.
2. Stirring
Resin reactor is equipped with a stirring device inside, which ensures the uniform mixing of the reactants through continuous stirring and prevents the deposition and stratification of the raw materials. Commonly used stirrers include paddle stirrers, spiral stirrers, high shear stirrers, etc.
3. Vacuum Degassing
In some resin production processes, the gases (such as water, volatiles, monomers, etc.) generated by the reaction need to be removed. A vacuum degassing system is usually used to reduce the pressure, help remove the gas, and improve the purity of the resin.
4. Cooling System
After the reaction is completed, the temperature of resin needs to be quickly reduced to prevent over-reaction or curing. The cooling system can control the reaction temperature within a reasonable range through cooling water or cooling oil.
5. Air Tightness and Pressure Control
Resin reactor usually needs to have good sealing and a certain pressure bearing capacity to operate safely in a high temperature and high pressure reaction environment. Use devices such as pressure gauges and safety valves to ensure that the equipment operates within a safe pressure range.
• Material and Shape: Corrosion-resistant stainless steel or enameled steel materials are usually used to ensure high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance during the reaction process. The shape of resin reactor is usually cylindrical or conical, and the bottom may be flat or conical, designed according to needs.
• Stirring System: There are different types of stirrers, such as paddle stirrers, ribbon stirrers, high shear stirrers, etc. The choice of stirrer depends on factors such as the viscosity of the resin and the reaction rate. The stirring device is usually driven by an electric motor, and the speed is adjusted by a reducer.
• Heating Method: Common heating methods include steam heating, electric heating, oil heating, etc.
• Cooling Method: The cooling system is usually external circulation cooling or internal circulation cooling, and the heat in the reaction process is removed by cooling water or cooling oil.
• Vacuum Pump: It is used to extract the gas inside the resin reactor and reduce the pressure, which is conducive to removing moisture or volatile substances in the reaction process.
• Temperature Sensor: Used to monitor the temperature inside the resin reactor in real time and maintain the set temperature by automatically adjusting the heating system.
• Pressure Sensor: Monitors the pressure inside the resin reactor to ensure safety during operation.
• Control Instrument: Such as PLC or DCS is used to automatically control the reaction process, adjust temperature, pressure, stirring speed, etc.
